All you need to know to maintain your stunning silk sarees

Washing and Ironing Instructions

● We recommend dry cleaning to preserve the radiance of your saree.

● If you do choose to end up washing your saree at home, avoid soap for the first few washes and just use cold water 

● After 3-4 washes you could rinse your saree with a little bit of a gentle shampoo mixed with cold water. 

● Stay away from using harsh detergents and brushes or from wringing or beating your saree.

● Hang your saree to dry in a shaded area to avoid fading

● Do not iron your saree directly. Cover the saree in a fine muslin cloth and iron over it. Direct ironing may affect the shine of your precious silks.

Storage Instructions

● Fold the sari retaining the fold lines as much as possible. Wrap it in a sheet of muslin cloth and store it away from light and heat 

● We recommend changing the fold every few months to avoid any frays along the folds.

● It is always advisable to store your sarees on hangers; this method will leave them wrinkle-free.
